Welcome to Chavis & Sons — a new chapter in the legacy of R&D Masonry and Construction. Founded on decades of craftsmanship, integrity, and family tradition, we’re proud to continue serving North Carolina with expert residential construction and masonry services.
I’m Seth Chavis, a second-generation mason and licensed General Contractor. My journey began at 14, working side-by-side with my father, Ronnie Wayne Chavis, who built R&D Masonry from the ground up in 2002. After 17 years of hands-on experience, I had the honor of purchasing the company in 2022. Today, my father remains actively involved in our day-to-day operations, ensuring the same high standards he’s upheld for over two decades.
Chavis & Sons represents the next generation — a growing branch of our family business focused on residential builds, additions, remodels, and structural work. We’ve expanded beyond masonry to offer full-service construction, always grounded in the same values: quality, reliability, and pride in every detail.
